Style Shoot Inspiration
With this shoot, we had in mind a bride who loves the outdoors and wants a more glamorous and fun take on a rustic outdoor wedding. The inspiration for the shoot started first with the cake. Sarah Jane was inspired to create a modern classic version of a rustic/outdoor look with vibrant colours. We wanted to create a timeless shoot with style for days. Pulling inspiration from the cake, we choose to do the shoot outdoors and to incorporate pops of colours with the flowers and create an elegant feel with white linens and handmade calligraphy stationary.
Bride & Groom
The bride and grooms looks are modern and fun with the bride wearing a two piece dress and the groom suited up in a grey/blue suit.
Vendor contribution
The day of the shoot was so much fun, we had many vendors attending to ensure all of their pieces were just right. We did the photo shoot in Fish Creek Park a provincial park in Calgary, Alberta (Canada). We were just off of the main path where many people walked by and congratulated the couple which of course led to discussions of the models getting married. Shay and Travis hadn’t met before this shoot but we all felt their connection was undeniable and joked that should they get engaged they would already have their wedding planned using vendors from the shoot.
