Here are the best bachelorette party destinations in the Caribean
1. Aruba
Aruba is the perfect Caribbean island for a bachelorette party.
The Caribbean paradise boasts fantastic beaches, fancy restaurants, and vibrant nightlife, making it the perfect place for a girl’s trip to celebrate a bachelorette.
One of my favourite things to do in Aruba is to go on boat tours.
Whether you are doing the morning Champagne sail or the Aruba sunset cruise, a good mood and stunning views are included.
But boat tours are not the only fun thing to do in Aruba.
Whether relaxing on the famous Palm Beach or Eagle Beach or treating yourself to a spa treatment, there is much to do in Aruba.
The best places to visit in Aruba off the beaten tracks are Flamingo Beach on Renaissance Island, the California Lighthouse, and the Arikok National Park.
Book a full-day spa package, including drinks for Renaissance Island; it is perfect for a group of girls.
One of the best places to stay on the island for a girl’s trip is the RIU Palace.
It has hip bars, great restaurants, and a lovely pool area.
If you are looking for nightlife, this is the place to be.
It is also possible to stay in the colourful capital, Oranjestad.
The Renaissance Hotel is excellent, only a few feet from the famous Windcreek Waterfront Casino.
It’s a fantastic place to stay for your bachelorette party in the Caribbean (in Aruba)!
A fantastic restaurant you need to visit in Aruba is the Flying Fishbone.
It is unique because you will sit in the water while you try their unique cocktails and fresh seafood for a fantastic experience.
If you are looking for excellent Caribbean bachelorette party destinations, look no further than Aruba.
Suggested by Sabrina Meisler with Shades of Summr!
2. Isla Mujeres
If you’re looking for a fun place for a Caribbean Bachelorette party, look no further than the fantastic hidden gem, Isla Mujeres!
Isla has all the best the Caribbean offers: white sandy palm tree-studded beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, and fresh, delicious Mexican food!
One of the best things about this tropical paradise is that, unlike other tropical islands, Islas is relatively inexpensive to travel to.
The island has a perfect mix of excitement and relaxation.
Spend days snorkelling in the bottled water or clear waters or relaxing at one of the beach clubs on Playa Norte.
You can also book a Catamaran Tour with Lunch & Open Bar here.
Reserve umbrellas with a view, eat fresh spicy food, and keep the fresh and fruity drinks coming!
You’ll have no responsibility other than soaking up the sun and moving from Caribbean waters to the massage tables on the beach.
Rent a golf cart or two, the preferred way to get around, for your party and spend a day exploring the island.
Hunt for sea glass along the rocky east coast of the island, or head inland to search for colourful murals around town.
Isla also has an active nightlife scene so that you can party the night away.
Recommended places to stay:
- The fabulous Casa de los Sueños Boutique Hotel
- The reasonably priced all-inclusive Privilege Aluxes (Adults Only!)
- Or the Hotel La Joya Isla Mujeres for budget travellers!
No matter your group travel budget, Isla has something in every price range, including a few hostels where they party late into the night.
Looking for something more “quiet?”
Head to the less congested southern end of the island.
If there’s one restaurant you must put on your list, make it the Tiny Geko, located along the seawall with good food and fantastic views!
Isla Mujeres is one of the best Caribbean bachelorette party destinations!
Suggested by Angie Kunze of We’re Not in Kansas Anymore
3. Jamaica
If you are looking for a fun-filled bachelorette party in the Caribbean, Jamaica immediately comes to mind.
There is everything from private villas to all-inclusive beach resorts on this island.
The north part of Jamaica is the tourist corridor from Negrill and Montego Bay at one end, Ocho Rios in the centre and Port Antonio at the other.
Jamaica has lovely beaches with a stunning coastline and plenty of water sports!
My favourite is this Jamaica Bamboo Rafting Experience with Lime Stone Massage.
For a bachelorette party, I think all-inclusive resorts have an edge.
There are plenty of options at Negrill, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.
They can easily organize everything from airport transfers to activities outside the resort.
There are numerous restaurant and cuisine options available within these resorts.
Port Antonio is known more for quieter and smaller properties.
After you settle in at the beach resort of your choice, you won’t need to step outside for anything!
Hit the pool or just the pool bar for a drink.
Take a walk on the beach to watch the sunset.
Exploring the scenic coastline of Jamaica is a worthy activity.
Hire a private boat or take a group cruise; the resort can arrange whatever you wish.
Swim, snorkel or even go for a dive if you wish!
I recommend booking this Catamaran cruise with music and snorkelling for bachelorette parties.
It’s so much fun.
If you want to step out of your resort, there are plenty of options on the island.
There are adult destinations like Margaritaville in Jamaica to be enjoyed.
Cold beverages, rocking music, and non-stop dancing!
You can visit the pretty Blue Hole at Ocho Rios.
Visiting Dunn Falls at Ocho Rios is a good option for a different, fun-filled nature activity.
Dunn’s River Falls is a popular destination located within a natural park.
It features a 65-foot waterfall.
One fun activity is climbing Dunn’s Falls but be prepared for crowds here.
When it comes to specific bachelorette party resorts in Jamaica:
- Breathless Resorts is a popular bachelorette spot offering a memorable “Last Fling Before the Ring” package.
- Hilton Rose Hall, in Montego Bay, is an excellent place to spend that final weekend as a single lady with your girlfriends.
- Moon Palace will be loved by your girl squad, no doubt! You will love their gourmet dining, luxurious spa, and various swimming pools.

4. Key West
Key West is perfect for a wild, crazy beach party-filled weekend celebrating a bachelorette!
Enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches during the day that feel like a tropical getaway, enjoy fabulous food at the delicious Key West restaurants, and party hard with the fantastic nightlife scene on Duval Street.

Another option is to grab the girls and book a water activity like paddleboarding or a catamaran cruise to enjoy the fresh sea air and the sun’s rays!
Then check out Smathers Beach, Higgs Beach, or Rest Beach for a relaxing afternoon by the water.
While Duval Street has excellent nightlife and the famous Key West Bars, it is also a great area to explore during the day, grab lunch, shop, or try the famous key lime pie.
For live street entertainment and more shopping, head to Mallory Square.
Don’t forget to visit the Key West Rum Distillery for a fun free tour and samples, or book a private mojito class on the weekends.
Get the party started at the Aquaholics Paradise for a crazy pool party at Dante’s Key West with a swimming pool with a waterfall, a tiki bar, and live bands and DJs.
Places to Stay:

- Oceans Edge Key West Resort– This is the perfect home base for a bachelorette as it has a poolside bar, restaurant, and six pools and is steps from the marina.
- Kimpton Ella’s Cottages – These cottages are ideal for smaller bachelorettes, with everyone staying in one suite, which can hold up to six people.
Bars to Visit:
Key West is famous for those searching for fantastic nightlife, with the best bars in Key West around Duval Street.
Some are even open until 4 a.m.
Either create your bar-hopping route around the island, or we suggest joining this Key West Pub Crawl.
It will take you to the most popular and entertaining establishments, beginning downtown and then travelling to the historic seaport and back to busy Duval Street.
It will provide you with 5 free drinks and a souvenir t-shirt along the way, which is perfect for a bachelorette.
- Sloppy Joes: Best known as the favourite watering hole of novelist Ernest Hemingway, it is now a Key West Staple with live music until 2 a.m.
- Flying Monkeys: This famous bar has an outdoor patio on Duval Street and is known for its frozen cocktails made of all-natural ingredients.
- Dirty Harry’s: Known for its live rock music from the best cover band in Florida, the Dirtbags.
Head to Mr.Z’s for some of the best pizza in Key West for the best late-night snack!
If you are looking for a great hangover breakfast, you will want to check out the foodie scene at Blue Haven, which has a whimsical garden with tropical plants and gives off an island vibe.

5. Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is the perfect Caribbean island for a bachelorette party.
Sandy beaches, oceanfront hotels, and a lively atmosphere…could a better bachelorette party destination be possible?
Puerto Rico is located in the northeastern Caribbean Sea and is a popular tourist destination that offers many fun activities for brides-to-be and their bridesmaids!
Take a day or two to walk during your Puerto Rico itinerary around the charming cobblestone streets of Old San Juan, purchase popsicles at Señor Paleta, and explore the local shopping areas.
You can also head to the beach for sunbathing, piña coladas, and capturing beautiful photos together.
While relaxing, be sure to check out the tours.
The snorkelling tours are a fun way to spot turtles and unique sea life.
For something extra special, consider booking a private boat for drinks, sunsets, and water activities for the bride squad.
Discover the Hidden Gems of Puerto Rico on a Catamaran Sailing Tour to Culebra Island.
Old San Juan also has a big party scene; visit La Placita on weekends.
At La Placita, you will find cheap drinks, music, nightclubs, and people salsa dancing in the streets into the early morning hours.
Some of the best restaurants to visit are the Caficultura, surrounded by colourful architecture, and the Caleta de las Monjas is the best option for ocean views.
For a high-end hotel with 17 acres of tropical gardens, check out Caribe Hilton.
The Condado Plaza Hilton is great for a mid-range hotel and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.
For a more affordable option, The Dreamcatcher Hotel is an adorable boutique hotel.
December through April is the best time to plan your trip.
During this time, you will be less likely to experience rainfall, and the temperatures are mild and comfortable.
However, there is no wrong time to visit Puerto Rico.
Just be cautious around hurricane season (June – November).
If you’re planning a bachelorette party and want to see more Puerto Rican sites, it will be best to hire a car.
Uber can take you to each location if you prefer this option.

6. Bahamas
Are you struggling to find the perfect location for your bachelorette party?
Think no further than the Bahamas.
It is the most recommended Caribbean bachelorette party destination.
With increased bookings, the Bahamas has become a popular hotspot for girls’ trips and bachelorette parties.
Nassau and Paradise Island in the Bahamas are the perfect destinations for a lively and bustling bachelorette party.
With their vibrant nightlife, casinos, and nightclubs, you will have no shortage of entertainment options to keep the party going all night long.
For authentic Bahamian cuisine, grab a bite at The Poop Deck in Nassau.
Harbour Island, often called the “Nantucket of the Caribbean,” is famous for its pink and white sand beaches that stretch nearly 3 miles.
Check out the happy hour and stay for the sunset at Sunsets Restaurant & Bar.
And don’t forget Bimini, which offers the perfect combination of relaxation and adventure for your bachelorette party; you can unwind under the sun or participate in thrilling snorkelling experiences.
Try the Conch Salad at Stuart’s Conch Stand for local flavour.
The beaches in the Bahamas are more than just stunning; they’re breathtaking!
Imagine sinking your toes into pure white sand as soft and warm as a blanket fresh out of the dryer.
One of my favourites is Nassau Beach – you’ll find no better place to unwind from pre-wedding pressures or soak up some sunshine while sipping a cool drink in paradise.
When visiting the Bahamas, stay at one of the resorts on Paradise Island, like The Royal At Atlantis or Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, which offer luxurious accommodations with amenities such as pools, waterparks, restaurants, and even an aquarium.
And then there’s SLS Baha Mar hotel—an absolute must-visit for any bachelorette party visiting Nassau!
Between state-of-the-art décor, luxurious accommodations, and top-notch dining options (not to mention a hopping nightclub), it offers all the prerequisites needed for a memorable girls’ night out.
When looking for things to do in the Bahamas, thrill-seeking brides-to-be will want to take part in the many adventure activities and water sports, such as snorkelling, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing or parasailing, which are all available in the Bahamas.
Whether you want to relax in paradise or party until dawn, the Bahamas will ensure an unforgettable experience for you and your squad.
So grab your girls and get ready to make some incredible memories in this tropical paradise!
Suggested By Shannon, Caribbean Explorer!
7. Curacao
Are you planning a fun Caribbean bachelorette party?
Curacao should be on your radar!
This Dutch Caribbean island is situated between Aruba and Bonaire off the coast of Venezuela.
Since it sits below the hurricane belt, you’re guaranteed fantastic weather year-round!
Curacao isn’t your typical Caribbean destination.
It’s not a place to go for all-inclusive partying; you have an immersive, relaxing experience on the island.
Getting off the beaten path and exploring with a group of girls will undoubtedly lead to lasting memories!
One of the best things to do in Curacao is explore its beaches.
With over 40 to pick from, ranging from ones with loads of amenities to hidden spots, beach-hopping on white sand shores with turquoise waters and relaxing in the sun is a great way to unwind before a wedding.
Renting a car in Curacao is the best way to get around the island and explore independently.
Tour Willemstad, Curacao’s capital, and hunt for street art for a fantastic backdrop for group photos.
For the more adventurous types of girls, head to Mount Christoffel for a sunrise hike to reach the highest point of Curacao!
For a memorable bachelorette party evening, start with dinner at Fort Nassau, which overlooks Willemstad and the Sint Anna Bay.
The sunset views are incredible, and it’s one of the best fine-dining meals in Curacao.
Or, head to Rozendaels or Ginger in Pietermaai for a lush, tropical outdoor setting to enjoy classic Curacao dishes.
De Gouverneur is also a fantastic choice in the heart of Willemstad and is an easy walking distance from anywhere in town.
From there, your bridal party and the bride-to-be can bar-hop through Willemstad’s neighbourhoods of Pietermaai, Punda, and Otrobanda.
Enjoy a cocktail at Rustiq, Saint Tropez Ocean Club, or Tiki Loco and soak in the atmosphere.
Honestly, Curacao is one of the best Caribbean bachelorette party destinations.
A convenient location to stay, with the only man-made beach in Willemstad, is the Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort.
It’s in the best spot with easy access to shopping, dining, bars and more.
There is also the famous Scuba Lodge in Pietermaai, which is close to great cafes and is right on the water.
Avila Beach Hotel and Baoase Luxury Resort are other terrific options, especially for groups, which are a bit further out from town but have fantastic beach access and 5-star amenities.
With endless restaurants, places to stay, bars, beaches, and scenic backdrops for epic photos, Curacao is an ideal fun bachelorette party destination in the Caribbean!
Suggested by In Search of Sarah!
8. Mexico
Most ladies consider Mexico one of the top Caribbean bachelorette party destinations.
But it all depends on where you head out in Mexico.
Isla Mujeres is everything you want from a boutique stay on the Riviera Maya in Mexico; it has cerulean blue waters, white sand beaches, hammocks, grand architecture and incredible views no matter which way you turn.
It is, after all, on an island just off the coastline of Mexico.
And it’s just 15 minutes away from Cancun.
The perfect combination of a relaxing, gorgeous bachelorette breakaway and a stone’s throw from a party town full of buzzing, fun, excitement and everything you need for a memorable (or forgetful) trip!
Isla Mujeres also has a lot of fun party vibes, as it is one of the most popular day tours from Cancun, so there’s usually a fresh influx of visitors every day.
Depending on where you stay on the island, it can be quieter or a buzzing, vibrant and energetic place.
There are also a lot of adults-only hotels on the island, so it might be worth staying in one of these.
Have a look at Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets.
You can also have a look at other recommended Isla Mujeres resorts here!
Most hotels on the island have their boat to pick you up from Cancun and return you to shore, which is only a 20-minute ride away.
You’ll find plenty of time to sunbathe, snorkel, eat plenty of food, use their spa and watch spectacular sunsets on the Mexican-Caribbean coast.
Take in the breathtaking sights of Isla Mujeres on this private catamaran cruise.
With snorkelling equipment included, experience the world-renowned underwater reefs just off the coastline.
There are many beaches for you to explore, including El Cocal Beach, Norte Beach and Isla Mujeres Beach; these are just a short walk away from every hotel, given that the island is relatively small.
I recommend doing a local snorkel or diving tour; there’s a high likelihood of seeing turtles, and if it’s the right time of year, you might be lucky enough to see the whale shark migrations!
It’s worth checking out Mayan Beach Club and Restaurant, Chimbo’s Beach Restaurant, and Coco Shack Beach Bar.
Plenty of beach bars are lining the coast, so you won’t be short of places to stop for a fun time!
Book something in Mexico, considered one of the best Caribbean bachelorette party destinations.
Suggested by Adriana at Wanderlicious!
9. Puerto Morelos
Have you heard of Puerto Morelos?
This unique, lesser-known destination on Mexico’s Riviera Maya makes for a fabulous Caribbean bachelorette party destination!
IT IS NO LIE when I say that Mexico was voted one of the best Caribbean bachelorette party destinations.
Puerto Morelos is between two popular tourist towns, Cancun and Playa de Carmen.
It is easily accessible from Cancun Airport but sees fewer tourists and has a more local feel.
Friends on a bachelorette party weekend can enjoy adventurous activities and relaxation.
Consider snorkelling in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second-largest barrier reef in the world (right next to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef!) Glistening, warm turquoise waters make for a magical adventure.
Puerto Morelos is also a great jumping-off point for day trips like a tour of cenotes or a tour to Isla Mujeres.
It’s so centrally located that visitors might even consider making Puerto Morelos a day trip from a larger nearby town like Cancun or Playa de Carmen.
There are so many possibilities when it comes to experiencing Puerto Morelos!
Nightlife in Puerto Morelos is chill and laid back.
There are few nightclubs or bars, so the focus is on relaxation.
Consider spending time at a beach-side restaurant like Pelicano’s to enjoy a meal as the sunsets and the sky above the Caribbean reveal pink and purple hues.
Its downtown area features beautiful architecture with several salons providing manicures and massage visits, ideal for bachelorettes hoping for a time at the spa.
Bachelorette party friends can find accommodation fitting the bill from various budgets.
Backpacker bachelorettes might enjoy renting a private room in a hostel.
Those with a higher budget have various hotel options from mid-range to luxury, such as Hacienda Morelos and Fives Oceanfront.
From outdoor water adventures to laidback days on the white sand beaches overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Puerto Morelos provides a laid-back, less touristy Caribbean bachelorette party destination.
Suggested by Alyssa – An Apple a Plane
10. St. Croix, USVI
One of the most underrated yet fun Caribbean bachelorette party destinations is St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands.
Whereas St. Thomas is uber-famous, known for its luxury shopping, golf courses, and nightlife, and people flock to St. John’s beaches, St. Croix is often overlooked.
It shouldn’t be, though, especially for bachelorette parties — the island truly has something for everyone.
Gorgeous beaches, exciting outdoor recreation (on the water and off), great shopping and food, vibrant nightlife, fascinating historical sites, tours galore, spas, and a massive variety of accommodations…St. Croix checks all the boxes!
The island has gone to great lengths to keep commercialization at bay, so it has tons of authentic local charm.
You won’t find any high-rise buildings or chain restaurants; traffic and crowds are practically non-existent, and attentive service and affordable prices.
Things to do at one of the top Caribbean bachelorette party destinations:
Hit the beach
St. Croix has over a dozen incredible beaches with different vibes to suit everyone. One of the best overall is Rainbow Beach in Frederikstead. You can simply soak up the sun, party at popular Rhythms at Rainbow Beach, or rent jet skis or stand-up paddleboards. Closer to Christianstead, Shoys Beach is one of the island’s most prominent and prettiest.
Annaly Bay tide pools
Pack some hiking leggings, swimsuits, and sandals; this is a must! Reaching the tide pools requires a 2.7-mile hike (5.4 miles total), but it’s well worth it. You’ll hike through the rainforest, have spectacular island views, and enjoy a pebble beach.
Buck Island Reef National Monument
The crown jewel of St. Croix, this protected island is just a couple miles offshore. It’s one of only two national US monuments with an underwater snorkelling trail. Book a guided tour or charter a private boat and spend the day snorkelling and exploring the island’s unspoiled beaches.
Where to stay
- Hotel on the Cay (budget, but still has a private beach)
- Carambola Beach Resort (mid-range hotel)
- The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort (luxury)
Where to eat
- La Reine Chicken Shack
- Ama at Cane Bay
- Duggan’s Reef (lobster!)
As you can see, St. Croix is one of the most underrated yet fun Caribbean bachelorette party destinations in the US Virgin Islands.
Suggested by Taryn from Chasing Trail
13. Cancun
Known as the Mecca of party resorts and spring breaker heaven, Cancun is one of the best destinations for a bachelorette party.
They will know how to make it memorable for sure.
You should choose Cancun to check out the turquoise sea and endless white sand beaches with a tasty Margarita in your hand!
But Cancun is not just that.
There are many things to do in Cancun, a few steps from any hotel you choose to book for any traveller.
If you love the sea, boat trips and snorkelling tours are the best options, and you have an infinite choice to explore the underwater world, including the world-famous underwater museum MUSA.
If you are more into cultural experiences, you should know that Cancun is home to three small historical sites.
In contrast, if you want to visit the UNESCO Heritage site of Chichen Itza, you will find a variety of guided tours to take you there.
Or you can rent a car and go alone, with your family and friends.
If you get tired of the beach, you can explore the mystical cenotes and underground lakes formed by the collapse of the limestone-rocky surface.
They are a spectacular miracle of nature.
Organized tours usually include a complete adventure package in the Jungle, with ATV, zipline, and cenote swimming.
For the best bachelorette experience, you should choose the perfect hotel; among my favourite is the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, which offers an exciting and luxurious all-inclusive experience in the Cancun Hotel Zone, ideal for party-seeking travellers.
If you love clothing-option resorts, Temptation has just been renovated and upgraded to a luxury resort.
Unlimited fun is definitely on the menu!
Dream Sand Cancun is a more affordable option but still quite a treat, and is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Cancun.
You cannot go wrong.
Cancun has some of the best resorts for bachelorette parties!
Even if you were in an all-inclusive hotel, I would suggest trying some fantastic international restaurants in the Hotel Zone, such as the Thai restaurant in Plaza La Isla, Ilios, and Nicoletta, respectively Greek and Italian.
If you want a high-end Mexican experience, you can have a special dinner at La Habichuela in downtown Cancun.
Suggested by Isabella of Let’s Travel To Cancun!
14. Nassau
If you are looking for unique bachelorette party destinations in the Caribbean islands, you should look into Nassau.
Nassau in the Bahamas is a terrific bachelorette party destination.
Where else can you experience the warm Caribbean Ocean, soft-sand beaches, pool parties during the day, and dance clubs at night?
Baha Mar offers all these experiences without having to leave the property.
Planning a bachelorette party at Baha Mar would be easy because you don’t have to organize transportation, and your concierge can help plan your activities.
Baha Mar is a luxury complex with three hotels: Grand Hyatt, Rosewood, and the SLS.
Each hotel offers a different experience.
For example, the SLS would be perfect to party up in Nassau.
You and your bachelorette party can spend the day soaking up the rays at the pool party and head to Bond, a nightclub, after the sun goes down.
You might take a break from dancing your heart out and play some blackjack hands at the casino.
When your bachelorette party is ready to mix it up, head across town to the Atlantis, where you can catch a variety of concerts and shows.
On the other hand, Rosewood might be calling your name if you prefer a bachelorette party focused on wellness and relaxation.
The sophisticated hotel offers low-key elegance with 5-star service on the beach.
Whichever hotel you choose, there is something for everyone.
Nassau is one of the best Caribbean islands for bachelorette party getaways!
Some of the best restaurants in Baha Mar include Katsuya (sushi), Filo (Italian), and Cleo (Mediterranean).
They are all delicious.
Try to make a few dinner reservations in advance.
The restaurants are popular with visitors, and it can be hard to get a last-minute table.
During the day, your bachelorette party can relax at the famous Cable Beach, where the sand is soft and the water is clear and warm.
Other popular activities to check out while in Nassau include swimming with the pigs, snorkelling, enjoying a sunset sailing cruise, and venturing on a food and cultural tour.
For those with a sense of adventure, head to Baha Bay, the new waterpark at Baha Mar, or venture across the island to the waterpark at the Atlantis Hotel, also known for fun-filled water adventures.

15. Cozumel, Mexico
Cozumel is a fantastic destination for bachelorette parties.
It has excellent beaches, fun beach clubs, and delicious food.
But that’s not all Cozumel has going for it.
Cozumel is easy to access, with daily direct flights from several U.S. cities.
Cozumel is also a cost-effective destination.
You can have an all-inclusive experience for far less than in many places.
Most of the resorts even have onsite spas for some luxurious pampering.
Most importantly, Cozumel is very safe.
There is very little crime on the island, so women don’t have to worry about being out at night.
Since Cozumel is a pretty small island, it’s easy to get around.
Hop in a taxi, and you can be at the beach bars on the “Wild Side” of the island in no time.
Some of the best things to do in Cozumel are in the water.
Don’t miss a snorkel tour to El Cielo.
You can only reach this site by boat.
The sea floor is dotted with starfish and is great for photos.
Most tours to El Cielo also stop at El Cielito, a sandy, shallow spot perfect for snacks and drinks while rays swim around your feet.
For a great beach day, visit Buccanos Beach Club.
You can swim, snorkel, lie in the sun, and drink margaritas to your heart’s content.
Buccano’s also has fantastic food.
The Westin Resort is perhaps the best place to stay in Cozumel.
They have one of the best beaches of all the resorts on the island.
Their food and amenities are consistently highly rated.
For some nightlife, visit downtown San Miguel and hear live music at Wet Wendy’s, Woody’s, or the Thirsty Cougar.
No matter how you spend time in Cozumel, it will be a bachelorette party no one will ever forget.
Suggested By Sherry Arkfeld, Digital Nomad and a Dog!
16. Bacalar
If you’re looking for an offbeat location for your bachelorette party, consider Bacalar in the Yucatan Peninsula.
Bacalar is famed for its Lagoon of Seven Colors, a stunning freshwater lake with waters that are brilliant shades of turquoise, azure, and dark blue.
There are plenty of things to do in this tropical paradise to celebrate your upcoming nuptials with your girls.
For example, rent a private boat and explore the lagoon, hitting spots like Canal de Los Piratas Bacalar.
Pirates once used this narrow channel as a hiding spot as they waited to raid the city of Bacalar.
Just don’t forget to bring along a bottle or two of bubbly!
Want something more active?
Join a sunrise stand-up paddle tour, where you can watch the sky turn punchy colours as the sun rises over the horizon.
On the tour, you’ll usually visit a few different areas of the cenote, like Cenote de la Bruja.
This lagoon area, which has dark blue waters, is so-named because local legend holds that a witch once lived on its shores!
One activity not to miss is Los Rapidos Bacalar, one of the most unique “beach clubs” you’ll ever visit.
A club built right along a narrow section of the lagoon, with a gentle current.
Here, you can walk down a wooden boardwalk, jump into the river, get carried back to where the club is, and do it all over again—basically, Mother Nature’s man-made lazy river!
It’s super fun to jump in the refreshing water, and whenever you need a break from the sun, the club is fully stocked with cervezas and all the chips and guac you can dream of.
Bacalar has many accommodations perfect for a bachelorette party, from budget hostels to luxury resorts.
If you’re looking for something more affordable, check out MBH Maya Bacalar Boutique Hotel, which offers upscale suites with private steam baths and jacuzzis at an affordable rate.
If you want to splash out, Mia Bacalar Luxury Resort and Spa has a private pier and an onsite spa where your group can indulge in various services.
AMAINAH Bacalar is another excellent choice—each room has views of the lagoon, and if your party gets tired of enjoying its crystal clear waters, you can jump in the pool’s swimming pool or hot tub instead.
Bacalar is a relatively quiet town, so the vibes are a bit more lowkey than a party hub like Tulum.
However, some killer bars, like Damajuana Bacalar, offer a stunning array of mezcal in hand-crafted cocktails.
And you certainly won’t go hungry while in town!
For example, you can find Instagrammable smoothie bowls for breakfast at Mango y Chile; have lunch at Jaguara, a casual beach bar that dishes up immaculately presented Yucatanian food; and hit Nixtamal for dinner, which has Tulum-esque party vibes and Michelin star-level food.

17. Tulum
When it comes to bachelorette parties, Tulum is a great Caribbean destination.
Mainly renowned for its boho-chic culture and hipster community, Tulum has become one of the most popular Mexican beach spots.
In fact, from a small fishing town, it has rapidly grown into one of the most luxurious resorts in Mexico.
Tulum is a real gem nestled along the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula.
It combines natural beauty, laid-back luxury, and a vibrant party scene, making it an irresistible choice for bachelorette celebrations.
The endless white sand beaches are lined with high-end hotels and palm trees, creating a unique bohemian atmosphere very different from the Cancun huge resorts.
You won’t find all-inclusive hotels in Tulum but small boutique nests offering personalized service and unique, sophisticated decor.
Coco Tulum offers luxurious cabanas, swinging daybeds, and a delicious restaurant if chic beachfront elegance is your style.
The iconic Be Tulum is considered one of the most luxurious hotels on Tulum Beach, offering spacious and elegant beach rooms equipped with all the most sophisticated facilities.
Selina Tulum is also a great party location for more budget-conscious bachelorette party squads.
Culinary enthusiasts will find a great choice of restaurants, among which the most demanded is Hartwood, a renowned establishment focusing on locally sourced ingredients and wood-fired cuisine, for an unforgettable dining experience.
Casa Banana serves delectable ceviche and other ocean-inspired delicacies for seafood lovers in a charming setting.
Another popular place is Gitano, famous for its blend of bohemian atmosphere and innovative mixology with mezcal-infused cocktails.
Tulum is also famous for its beach parties and vibrant clubbing after sunset.
Venues such as Papaya Playa Project and Coco Beach Club are some of the trendiest locations to dance the night away beneath the stars.
If you love to explore, make sure you visit the nearby Tulum archeological site, the biosphere of Sian Ka’an, and some of the most beautiful refreshing cenotes, such as Cenote Corazon, Kaan Luum Lagoon, and Cenote Escondido.
Try this tour package.
Tulum will make your bachelorette party very special.
To get to Tulum, you will have to fly into Cancun first, and then I would suggest getting a private transfer that will take you and your group directly from Cancun airport to your Tulum Hotel, saving a lot of time and stress.

Does the bride pay for a destination bachelorette party?
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as it varies depending on the bride’s and her bridal party’s preferences and financial situations.
In some cases, the bride may cover all or part of the costs associated with a destination bachelorette party, particularly if she has asked her bridesmaids to travel a significant distance to celebrate with her.
In other cases, the bridesmaids may split the cost of the trip amongst themselves, or each individual may cover their expenses.
Ultimately, it is up to the bride and her bridal party to agree on how the costs of a Caribbean destination bachelorette party will be handled.
Communication and transparency are vital in ensuring everyone is on the same page and feels comfortable with the financial arrangements.
