Rose Quartz And Serenity Blue Wedding Ideas
You can never go wrong with a rose quartz and serenity blue wedding theme as it’s automatically elegant and romantic.
Today, we are switching things up and featuring a style shoot based on the Pantone colours 2016!
Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue were the Pantone Colors of the Year 2016.
This was the first time Pantone had chosen two colours as the Color of the Year.
Rose Quartz is a warm, gentle pink, while Serenity Blue is an excellent, tranquil blue.
This makes it the best wedding colour combination.
Pantone chose the two colours to represent a sense of balance and harmony in a chaotic and stressful world.
The combination of Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue was intended to evoke feelings of peace, relaxation, and serenity.
What better reason to choose these colour combinations for your big day?
Several factors, including fashion and home decor trends and societal and cultural shifts, influenced choosing these particular colours.
Pantone chose these colours to reflect a growing desire for mindfulness, wellness, and self-care.
Overall, the Pantone Colors of the Year for 2016 was a calming choice that reflected a desire for harmony and balance in an increasingly hectic world.
When I heard that the wedding team over at Alegrar Events was using these colour combinations to create a style shoot masterpiece, I knew I had to feature it.
This gorgeous style shoot was designed by the lovely team at Alegrar Events and photographed by Bola Sami Photography!
First, let’s gab about how stunning this styled shoot looks!

Style Shoot Inspiration From Designer Alegrar Events
A few words from the designer:
I wanted to showcase something soft and pretty for the elegant bride, with classic lines, minimal decor and gorgeous wear.
The key was to keep it simple, soft, and with understated elegance running through it.
The inspiration for the shoot was based on the Pantone colours of the year; I thought the rose quartz and serenity blue were the perfect combination of soft and elegant contrast, and that is what I focused on with the shoot.
From the table linen to the candles and pottery, we infused the theme into every detail (going as far as using baroque-style crockery for our place settings!
Hopefully, the elegant bride draws some inspiration from it as you plan and design your day.
I hope you can depict from the shoot how to weave your desired colours into the design for your day to create the effect, look and feel you want for the big day.
Be inspired!
