We all know how stressful planning a wedding can be.

That’s why eating healthy and working out can greatly reduce the amount of stress you may have.

After giving birth to my daughter, I was diagnosed with PCOS (long story). But basically my hormones were all out of whack and I just started putting on weight.

To make matters worse, I had to plan my own wedding.

I also knew that I need to lose weight before the wedding to ensure I felt good about myself. 

And the weight gain was beginning to affect my health.

When to start losing weight for a wedding?

If you are a bride to be or a groom to be and you are wondering when the best time to lose weight is, I suggest starting early. 

You will need to lose about 1 pound per week to be healthy. 

I would suggest starting as early as 6 months prior to your wedding day as it will give you plenty of time. 

It will also depend on how much weight you need to get rid of.

Yoga is always a great work out for those trying to lose weight for a wedding or any occasion for that matter.

I did a full yoga program when I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter and I maintained my weight throughout the pregnancy with little weight gain.
