4 WAYS TO MAKE YOUR WEDDING SITE STAND OUT TO POTENTIAL BRIDES

HAVING AN ATTRACTIVE AND UNIQUE WEBSITE DESIGN // 1

Trust me, if your website is not up to par, you will only be turning brides away. If it looks too much like cheap DIY, again, brides will log off before you can even say hello. You are in the wedding and events business, you are surrounded by pretty things all day long. A bride wants a representation of this when they land on your site. Make your Wedding site stand out to potential brides by changing up your website design.

You can get affordable WordPress themes on Creative Market like this one.

FREQUENTLY UPDATING YOUR WEDDING PORTFOLIO // 2

When the wedding season is slow, the best thing you can do to make your Wedding site stand out to potential brides is to update your wedding portfolio with more recent weddings. Do not add just any wedding. Update this with weddings that you feel represent your brand well. If you planned a wedding with a bride that had ideas and themes that just did not work, don’t add it.

Show off your best work and anything that is outdated must come down. I will rather you have 7 mind-blowing, drop-dead gorgeous weddings than 20, with weddings that look like it is was planned in 1991.

BLOG YOUR WAY TO BOOKING MORE CLIENTS // 3

Businesses that blog more frequently book 5 times more clients than those that do not. The theory is simple. In order to get more bookings, you need to show up first on Google. People, in general, tend not to look past the second or third page of Google. How do you get to the first page of Google?

They are several ways to do so, but the most recommended way is to blog. Google will favor websites that tend to be updated frequently. And the best way to update your site is by blogging. This means researching keywords, using words that your brides are more likely to search and giving tips and tricks.

It does take a few weeks and sometimes months to pull in traffic from Google, the earlier you start, the better. Make your Wedding site stand out to potential brides by blogging.

Another quick way to get up on Google is to guest post on big wedding blogs, submit your weddings to a popular site and get other big blogs to feature you. Check out our vendor’s most booked package here.

HAVE A CONTACT US PAGE // 4

This may seem obvious but a lot of you do not have a clear way for brides and grooms to contact you. And having it once does not count. You need to strategically place it in areas that you feel your couples can easily find. If they land on your site from finding a blog post you created, then your contacts should be on that page. Here are places I recommend having your contact information.

  • Contact Page
  • Service page
  • Portfolio page
  • About us page
  • Home page.

That’s already 5 places brides have a way of contacting you. The chances of getting booked are now greater. Email us if you have more questions or leave them in the comments below.
